  The food is out of this world. The blackened chicken is great, the hamburger steak is delicious. Some of our party has the gumbo, which was described as brown soup with seafood in it. They said the wings were good, though. The service was a little lacking, which was odd for a Monday night, as it took over an hour to get all of our food (hence the removed fifth star). They did have a large number of carry out orders, however, so it definitely appears to be popular among the locals.

  Started out so nice. Staff seemed friendly, nice little place. But it all took a turn once you ordered. Ordered wings to start, then ribeye for the main. And of course, a salad and baked potato. Well, then it gets worse. And then, here comes the steak, the waitress doesn't know why we got the steak first, but admits she wouldn't have done it like that either. So I had ordered the steak medium rare, and had it repeated back to me. Let's get through this first, the steak is under cooked, I would have guessed it wouldn't even be classified as a rare. I would also venture the potato is crazy under cooked as well. It was probably thrown in a pot of boiling water for a few minutes just to get it hot. sour cream is in a packet. And to my surprise, NO salad. The waitress says, she is going to get my salad, don't see her again until she comes by and asks if we are doing ok. AGAIN leaves to get the salad, and someone else brings out the wings. To finally close this fiasco, I never got the salad, the wings were hot. And you can bet I will never darken the door of this establishment again. A local person had steered me that was saying, "it's hit or miss". I just wonder what a hit would have been like. I am going to guess the breakdown is in the kitchen. Or possible untrained staff. Either way, when we spoke with the "manager" (who I think was just another waitress) She thought we didn't understand what she was saying. I assure you I did.

  Is this a bar or restaurant ? It needs to decide. But it is not very good at either. Staff act like a dive bar, menu thinks it is a fancy restaurant, food is between greasy spoon and dive bar. There is a covered area in the back, you wouldn't know it unless you get curious watching people and decide to explore. But, it's probably a good thing. It is a smoking area outside bar band area....should be great ! However, no band, no ventilation and even a smoker will run for air, looks like a hide out for those who don't want to be inside. Why they have a bar out there is a curiosity because you have to go inside to get anything. Then because you are in a restaurant, your made to feel like you shouldn't be there. Worse bar restaurant I have ever been in.

  Tried to call on Thursday, had and an hour long drive coming home figured I'd give them a head start (because based on previous experiences, they need it!) called on and off for 15 mins no answer. Food is top notch if you have the patience to wait at least an hour to hour and a half after you order.

  Pitiful service! Called in for three salads to go and an hour later still no salads. The so called waitress at the register was unconcerned. I had to ask her to go check on the ordered. Came back and said she thought they were fixing to start on them. Really after an hour. I told her to cancel the order all I got was Ok. No I’m sorry or any kind of apology. I’m all about supporting local businesses but they need to serve the people of the community better than this. I hope they don’t treat everyone this way!
